Working with difficult patients

Working with difficult patients requires quite a bit of patience, according to our veterinarian OHU graduate, Jaki. She shared these recent photos of her de-worming and trypanosomiasis treatments to a farmer’s cow. She described how the cow was kicking and fighting her and the farmer didn’t have a proper restraint so she had to lay it down to get control and cooperation. All in a day’s work for Jaki, the veterinary officer for the Kassandra District – move over cowgirls!
