Celebrating our graduates

We’re especially proud to celebrate our recent graduates during a year when there has been little to celebrate. Our students’ hard work and our donors’ steadfast support has resulted in university and trade school diplomas and certificates for these six young people. We could not reach these achievements without your generosity and commitment.

Namagembe Jane completed her certificate at Excel Vocation Training Institute as a fashion designer and is working as an apprentice to a tailor in Kampala with her own sewing machine.
Mutyaba Abbey completed his metalworks certificate at the MLK Fabrication School and is completing an apprenticeship at his school.
Magobwen Subuga Dominic has graduated from Ndejje University with a Degree in Civil Engineering and a focus on highway construction and water engineering.
Sannyu Eurica graduated from the YMCA Comprehensive Institute with a diploma in cosmetology and hair dressing and is working as a hairdresser.
Kaweesi Joseph completed his degree at the Royal Institute Bwayiise and is working as a mechanic.
Lutalo Frank completed his certificate at Kabasanda Technical Institute as an electrical technician and has started a job in Kampala.
