The One Heart Uganda 5K team battled the wind and rain to make a successful showing at this year’s Running of the Bulldogs 5K. The annual race provides half of its proceeds to the St. Charles Lwanga parish where many of our scholarship students live and attend schools. Fr. Matthias Kakooza, our Uganda program liaison, bundled up for the November elements and medaled for his efforts. Joey Patronik was in the lead pack for male runners and John Arndt finished at the top of his age category! The OHU race team included: John Arndt, Kim Arndt, Karla Fleming, Joey Patronik, Mary Patronik, Tim Patronik, Sydney Richards, Kelly Shea and Emily Witt.
