In two month’s time, a group of 10 supporters (3 sponsors, 3 teachers and 4 young adults) will travel to Central Uganda to visit the 100+ One Heart Uganda scholarship students to conduct progress reports, take photos and capture video, to bring back to their sponsors in the U.S.
Currently, there are only 7 student candidates – who have been waiting for almost two years to be sponsored. We are working hard to find sponsors for: Achilles, Elic, Ezira, Florence, Nazario, Paul and Willson.
As part of our trip, we bring care packages complete with letters and photos from our U.S. sponsors to the students in our program, and we hope to be able to bring a care package – as well as news of their sponsorship – to these seven.
