Sunday’s Running with the Bulldogs 5K was a perfect mix of fun, health and sharing. The 9th annual race found a new home near Montrose Beach where runners young and old reveled in the competition.
Participants ran, walked and strolled to raise money for St. Andrew School’s athletic program and Father Matthias’ parish and schools in Central Uganda. The One Heart Uganda team was on hand to join the celebration and share our message of helping students through scholarship support.
Following the medal award ceremony, racers enjoyed musical entertainment by burgeoning musician, Claire Kelly. Hailing from Nashville, Claire delighted participants with her beautiful voice and guitar-playing. It was the perfect cap on a perfect morning.
