On a sunny, 70-degree day, the St. Andrew second grade class was celebrated for raising the most money of any class in this year’s Penny Challenge. The school raised a total $3,770 to secure the tuition needed for our student, Zaituni, to finish primary school and start her secondary education.  That’s a lot of coins!

In addition to enjoying donuts and refreshments outside, second graders shared questions for Zaituni and her classmates to be answered during our upcoming visit to Uganda. We look forward to connecting our scholars in Uganda with students here at home.
