Wasswa John grew up watching his father provide plumbing services to businesses and neighbors in their village. His father taught himself the trade and is delighted to see his son following in his footsteps.
John is enjoying his plumbing courses at Buganda Royal Institute where he gets hands-on experience constructing water supply systems and working with various appliances. Once he completes his coursework next year, he’ll begin an internship to hone his skills.
“My father and family are proud of me, and I’m proud and happy to be a plumber like my father,” shared John.
