This year, St. Andrew School focused its annual Penny Challenge on creating real change for 11-year old Zaituni. Students and their families raised $3600 to ensure Zaituni has the scholarship funds needed to attend primary and secondary school.
We’re so grateful to teacher, Annie McGuire, who helped organize the fundraiser and One Heart Uganda Day when students learned about school and life in Central Uganda. Thanks also to board members, Lisa Koehl and Donnie Roberts, who pitched in to count the buckets and buckets of coins.
