Thanks to local artist Heather Gentile Collins and the DePaul Prep Women of STEM club, we were able to showcase and sell heart-adorned shopping bags at the St. Andrew Children’s Garage sale this weekend. Just in time for Mother’s Day, shoppers were able to support scholarships and get a personalized bag for mom. Collins, known for her trademark colorful hearts, designed and painted the shopping bags, and STEM Club members: Brigid Clarke, Marina Martinez, Fiona Scanlan and Brynn Wilson, personalized the bags and whipped up support and enthusiasm during the sale.
