We are thrilled for Jovan, who has received a full government scholarship to study medicine at the University of Constantine III in Algeria. He is learning to speak French this summer to assist with his studies and help adjust to a new country and a new culture.
“I had started studying pharmacy in Uganda, but when I got this offer I saw it as an incredible opportunity to allow me to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor and practicing medicine. My passion has led me here,” Jovan said.
