It’s never too late to celebrate! Our recent Ribfest was a huge success as friends and neighbors gathered on Cornelia Avenue to enjoy BBQ ribs and live music. The event raised $10,000.00 for the Promise Campaign – exceeding our fundraising goal for the event and helping us move closer to our campaign target that will help us ensure all of our current students’ scholarships are funded through their graduations. It was a beautiful fall evening and a dedicated team of barbeque enthusiasts made sure no one walked away hungry. Many thanks to board member, Donnie Roberts, who spearheaded the event and to the many volunteers, who pitched in, cooked and helped us spread the word about our Uganda students. What a delicious way to help our deserving scholars.
